What are forehead lines?

Horizontal lines that run across the forehead between the eyebrows and the hairline (think Gordon Ramsey!)

Forehead lines are caused by the action of the frontalis muscle on the forehead. This muscle contracts when we raise our eyebrows. The raising of the frontalis muscle pulls the skin of the forehead up and causes forehead wrinkles which appear as lines across our forehead.

Aim of treatment.

The aim treatment is reduce the prominence of the horizontal forehead line appearance, that occur when you contract the frontalis muscle.

By allowing the dynamic facial muscle movements which cause frown lines to be reduced, a more relax and diminish the movement pattern is achieved. Preventing the development and appearance of forehead lines, producing a smoother, younger and line-free look.

The botox injections are a simple and safe procedure, involving a several small, superficial injections into the frontalis muscle so that it can no longer cause the skin to crease or fold.

Botulinum toxin is a prescription-only procedure and will only be performed following our face-to-face medical consultation with a medical practitioner prior to botox being administered.
