Palm Sweat Reduction

Botulinum  toxin injections can be used to help reduce excessive sweating. This procedure is also known as hyperhidrosis treatment.

Hands

Who is it for:

If excessive palm sweating get in the way daily activities or causing social embarrassment or anxiety you may be a suitable candidate for the Botulinum toxin treatment.

For people who suffer from hyperhidrosis that affects their palms and the soles of their feet, botulinum injections, or botox for short, can provide significant relief from symptoms. Botox injections work best for those who have primary focal hyperhidrosis (sweating in localized, specific areas)

Treatment plan:

Botulinum toxin is approved to treat the symptoms of severe palm sweating when topical medicines do not work well enough. Botulinum toxin is injected into the affected areas to help control this condition by temporarily blocking the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands. When the sweat glands do not receive chemical signals, the severe sweating settles.

Botox injections do not affect touch or sensation or the hand or fingers

Our Clients Say

Client feedback picture
I had Botox in my hands for palmer hyperhydrosis. The experience was very professional, the procedure was explained clearly before we started and I felt fully prepared to start. The procedure was very quick. After marking dots on my hands with a marker, each hands injections only took 10 minutes (20 minutes total). The injections were not painful but just uncomfortable, imagine blood test finger pricks, but it’s worth it for the results. I had slight bruising on my palms the next day and little scratch marks but nothing painful at all. I’m currently only 4 days out from having the procedure and already I can see massive results with my sweaty hands. I’m already a lot dryer then I have been for years, and I’m only expecting the results to get better as the days/weeks go by. I’m already able to use my phone, hold hands, carry shopping bags and type on a keyboard with hugely reduced sweating. I would highly recommend this treatment, I will definitely be coming back for further treatments for sure. 20 minutes of slight uncomfortable needle pricks for potentially months of sweat relief. Give it a go, you won’t regret it
