A common reason for pre-registration pharmacists not being successful in the exam is due to a lack of calculation practise or exposure throughout their training.

This document series is specifically designed to give you the opportunity to be exposed to practise questions that focus on a variety of pharmaceutical calculations that are performed on a daily by pharmacists. This series is jam packed with questions of varying levels of difficulty, reflecting real day to day practise.

The types of questions in this calculation series often require referral to other reference sources, e.g. the British National Formulary, and we suggest that each student ensures that he or she is proficient in using reference texts. This data collection skill can save vital time in an examination environment
